Architectural History & Theory
I was a bit uninterested in this module at first because history was never my favourite subject in highschool. But suprisingly, I had a lot of fun in this module. The topics were interesting and Ms. Dee and other tutors are very passionate about the subject they're teaching. myTimes was a great platform with all the learning materials I needed and I could access them anytime.
Project 1: Analysis Report
This was a group project where we had to analyse 2 historical buildings from a selected historical time period. As a group, consisting of 7 members total, we decided on researching two buildings from the renaissance period, which was the Florence Cathedral and the St Peter's Basilica. We also decided to present the research in a magazine style that is easily understandable to the reader.
Project 2: Sketching Analysis
This project was an individual project where we had to make an A4 sketch booklet of 5 historically significantly local buildings of our choice. Sketching of the building, research on the history, spatial analysis, as well as architectural analysis were perform the buildings, written and organized manually on an A4 format
