AD3 Final Project

This Final Project, we were tasked with designing a discovery/research centre for Kampung Morten in Malacca on a given site. The design was made in accordance to the site analysis and research done in Project 2. The theme I chose that best represented Kampung Morten and the discovery centre is 'The connection of the River & Kampung Morten.

Conceptualising

The ortographic drawings were done using Revit while the renderings were done using Enscape. The arrangements and graphics were done with a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Procreate.

Reflection

This semester I would say is the one where I learned the most. The jump from last semester to this semester was a bit tough to keep up with. I learned a lot of technical skills such as revit, illustrator and such but the most valuable thing I learned was how to manifest concepts into physical architectural elements which I struggled a lot with in previous semesters
